Architectural structure introduction: Kingkey 100 integrates a super-large glass dome, a joint hyperbolic awning and a glass curtain wall to create a unique waterfall-like streamline shape. Its architectural appearance is simple and smooth, as if it is pouring into the city. The waterfall in the center interprets the spectacular scene of "flying down three thousand feet, probably like the Milky Way falling from the sky". The main tower of Kingkey 100 is narrow from east to west and wide from north to south, with a height-to-width ratio of 9.5:1, making it the highest skyscraper in the country. The building structure adopts core tube and truss structure, which makes the building extremely strong. In order to control the swing of the building in the wind, the designers also installed two dampers on the 91st floor of the building to withstand a once-in-a-century typhoon.
