Introduction to the Grottoes: Shizhongshan Grottoes, also known as Jianchuan Grottoes and Shibaoshan Grottoes, were first excavated more than 1,100 years ago. They are mainly distributed in three cave areas: Shizhong Temple, Shishiguan and Shadenqing. There are now 17 caves and 139 statues, with four categories of content: first, Buddha, Bodhisattva, Guanyin, Heavenly King, Ming King, Hercules, etc.; second, Nanzhao King and his attendants; third, ancient foreign statues; fourth, female genital worship.
