Introduction to Foding Mountain: Foding Mountain Nature Reserve is located at the southern end of Ganxi Township, Shiqian County, 30 kilometers away from the county seat. The total area of the reserve is 14,032 square kilometers. The highest peak is 1,869.3 meters above sea level. It is the only natural reserve in eastern Guizhou. The second highest mountain after Fanjing Mountain, it is known as the "Sister Mountain of Fanjing Mountain". Historically, it was also a sacred Buddhist site in eastern Guizhou.
Foding Mountain Area is a well-preserved mid-subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest area. Due to its lower latitude, there are more clouds and fog, less sunshine, and abundant rainfall due to the influence of the marine climate.
