Introduction to Yangxi Canyon: Yangxi Canyon is located in the north of Shiqian County, 5 kilometers away from the county. The Kaixia River in the east of Qian comes out of the canyon and flows between the farms on both sides of the river, about 1 kilometers to the entrance of the floating bridge. It joins the Longchuan River and goes north. This section of the river has a wide surface and flowing water on the beach, so it is named Yangxi.
At the mouth of Yangxi Valley, on the left are the towering Hood Summit and Swallow Rock with sloping cliffs. On the right are the Huangjianao and Dabiao Rocks, which are like stone gates with a wall cut thousands of feet tall and hanging upside down. The scenery is beautiful and there are caves between the cliffs. In ancient times, it was a secluded place for those seeking immortality and Taoism. It is rarely visited. The Yangxi Power Station in the valley cuts the river in the valley into two sections. The inner embankment is as level as a mirror, forming an artificial lake. Outside the embankment, the valley is deep and quiet, with gurgling water. The water rises in spring and summer. During the season, the water pours down along the embankment, forming a huge waterfall, and the sound shakes the valley, making it a spectacular sight.
