Introduction to Concubine Ji Zang'er: Emperor Xianzong of Ming Dynasty Zhu Jianshen (1446~1487) was born in Chenghua. His favored concubine Wan Gui was vicious and forced everyone to have an abortion if anyone in the palace got pregnant. Concubine Ji was originally a barbarian girl snatched from Guangxi. She managed the library in the palace. She met Emperor Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty by chance and deceived Concubine Wan Guifei into becoming pregnant. After the child was born, she was secretly raised by the eunuch Zhang Min. Zhang Min reported this matter to Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty in 1475, and Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty rushed to Xinei to recognize his son, whom he had not seen for 6 years. Later, Concubine Ji and Zhang Min were both killed. After the prince Zhu Youtang succeeded to the throne, he posthumously consecrated Concubine Ji to the queen and was buried together with Emperor Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty in the Maoling Mausoleum of the Thirteen Tombs in Beijing.
