Introduction to Yujia Stone Village: Yujia Stone Village is the residence of the descendants of Yu Qian, a famous politician and national hero in the Ming Dynasty. 500 years ago, Yu Qian's son lived in seclusion in Nanyu Village, Jingxing, leaving behind three sons: brothers Yu Youdao, Yu Dongdao and Yu Nandao. During the Chenghua period (about 1486), due to financial constraints, Yu Youdao and his family secretly moved to this wilderness to live in seclusion in the mountains. At that time, the place was deserted, and Yu's family "lived with trees and rocks, wandering with deer", and the living conditions were very poor. With their tenacious spirit, their people worked hard to start a business and develop their lives. They used stones to build houses and fortresses, made stone tools to open up wasteland for farming, and all cooking and drinking utensils were carved out of stones. In the spring breeze and autumn rain, and the vicissitudes of life, the Yu family built a rural area here surrounded by mountains and stones, and thrived. From a few families, it developed into a stone village.
