Introduction to bronze ware: Bronze ware is one of the symbols of ancient Chinese civilization. Large vessels such as tripods and bells are regarded as symbols of the country and royal power; in general, tripods, pots, pots, plates, Zun, etc. are owned by nobles and officials. Daily utensils; and daggers, spears, halberds, swords, axes, etc. are necessary weapons; in addition, there are many utensils used for sacrifice, production, and daily life, which are related to the country and people's livelihood, so the rulers attach great importance to them and strictly manage them.
The tomb of King Chu You excavated in Li Sangudui, Shouxian County in 1923 is the earliest and largest Chu tomb discovered in my country. More than 4,000 cultural relics were unearthed, including more than 1,000 bronzes and more than 200 important large items. Except for being lost or destroyed, most of them are stored in Shouxian Museum.
In addition, the bronzes unearthed from the tomb of Marquis Cai, which has been designated by archaeological experts as the fifth milestone in the development of Chinese bronzes, are equally exquisite.
