Introduction to Xiyin Bookstore and Zhenyanzhai: Xiyin Bookstore and Zhenyanzhai are built on foot with the boat hall. They are a group of connected garden buildings. This group of courtyard-style study rooms are used by the children of the former owner of the garden. A place for reading and receiving visiting literati and poets, it was first built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty.
"Xiyin Bookstore" embodies the meaning of encouraging students to cherish their time and study hard. Among them, the plaque "Deep in the Green Clouds" was written by Prince Cheng, the eleventh son of Emperor Qianlong and a calligrapher. The plaque of "Zhen Inkstone Studio" is It was originally inscribed by He Shaoji, a calligrapher from Hunan in the Qing Dynasty, but was damaged over time. The one now hanging was rewritten by Qin Esheng, a calligrapher from Guangdong.
