Introduction to Wucai Pond: Wucai Pond is the essence of Jiuzhaigou Lakes. The upper half is blue and the lower half is orange-red. The left side is sky blue and the right side is olive green. There are aquatic plant communities such as Spirogyra, charophylla, and small ferns growing in the lake, as well as herbaceous plants such as reeds, knotweeds, and water wicks. These aquatic communities contain different shades of chlorophyll, which can show different colors in lake water rich in calcium carbonate. In the same lake, some waters are blue, some bay branches are light green, some water colors are magenta, and some springs are pink and blue...the changes are endless, and it is really beautiful! It's freezing cold in winter and the water surface freezes into ice, but this colorful little sea is not frozen, which is very strange.
