Introduction to East Mebon Temple: East Mebon Temple (EastMebon) was built by Rajendravarman II. It is an ancient temple to commemorate the king's parents. It belongs to the architectural style of Bili Temple. It was originally built on the central island of Dongchi, but now the water in the pond has dried up. It is in the form of Vajra Throne Tower, with three floors and five towers. There are four elephant sculptures of the same size as real elephants at the four corners of the first and second floor steps, which originate from the ancient Indian myth that four giant elephants support the universe.
