Introduction to Ta Prohm Temple: Ta Prohm Temple (Ta Prohm) is located about one kilometer east of Angkor Wat. It is a large Buddhist temple made of stones and one of the main buildings in the Angkor ruins. Built at the end of the 12th century, the Khmer King Jayavarman VII built it to worship his mother, also called the "Mother Temple". The temple is dedicated to Prajnaparamita, the "goddess of wisdom".
