Introduction to Mosuo Village: The Mosuo people are a branch of the Naxi ethnic group and mainly live on the banks of Lugu Lake. The Mosuo people are considered to be the only matrilineal clan society that still exists in China. The grandmother has the highest status and lives in the "grandmother's house". They practice a walking marriage system in which "men do not marry and women do not marry". Walking marriage is related to the fact that the local area is located in the center of the Tea Horse Road, and in ancient times most men ran caravans to make a living. The method of walking marriage is called "climbing the flower building". You climb into Amei's room in the dead of night and leave before the elders get up in the morning.
