Introduction to Tiantang Ruins: Tiantang Ruins is a Buddhist worship hall during the Wu Zetian period and was built under the leadership of Xue Huaiyi. There is a giant Buddha in dried lacquer wrapped in a piece of paper, which reaches the heaven and the earth. The church was the tallest pure wooden structure building in the world during the Wu Zhou Dynasty. It only existed for seven years and was destroyed by a fire. Now the new heaven has five outer layers and nine inner layers, symbolizing Wu Zetian’s historical status as the Nine-Five-Nine-Fifth Lord.
