Introduction to Baoyun Pavilion: Baoyun Pavilion is located to the north of Foxiang Pavilion on Wanshou Mountain in the Summer Palace in Beijing. It was built in the 20th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1755). It looks like a square pavilion in appearance. Because it is entirely made of copper, it is also called the "Golden Palace" or the Bronze Pavilion. The pavilion is 7.55 meters high and weighs about 207 tons. The shape imitates the style of a wooden structure building, with double eaves resting on the top of the mountain. The pillars, beams, rafters, tiles, ridges, and even the plaques of the hall look like wooden structures. The whole body is a crab-green cold bronze color, and it sits on a Xumizuo carved from white marble.
