Introduction to the ancient stage: There are four buildings in the first courtyard. The ancient stage was originally located at the southernmost end of the square. There is a gilt plaque hanging on the square, and there are Yangchun and Baixue gold plaques hanging on the upper and lower doors. The theater was mainly used for the annual Lunar New Year Temple Fair and for the Qing emperor to watch the theater during his visit. It was later demolished in 1976, and now only the 1.4-meter-high stone foundation remains. Today, the stage that is the first to enter the palace is a later imitation.
