Introduction to the Dragon King Temple Palace: The Dragon King Temple Palace is located 20 kilometers northwest of Suqian City. It was first built in the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in the 23rd year of Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty. Later, the emperors Yongzheng, Qianlong and Jiaqing restored and expanded it. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited the south of the Yangtze River six times and stayed here five times. He built pavilions, erected monuments and wrote poems, so it is also commonly known as the "Qianlong Palace".
