Thurston Garden Introduction: Thurston Garden is where the Fiji Museum is located. The garden was built in 1820 and belonged to a chief named Tabukaucoro. In 1843, Tabukaucoro's village was attacked by the Rewa tribe, its gardens were destroyed, and many tribesmen were eaten alive. Since then, the garden has been repaired several times until it was renamed "Thurston Garden" in 1976.
