Introduction to Baoshan Archway: The archway evolved from the Lingxing Gate and was initially used to worship heaven and Confucius. The Ling star was originally a spiritual star, and the spiritual star was the Tiantian star. In order to pray for a good harvest, Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty stipulated that the spiritual star should be sacrificed first before worshiping heaven.
