Introduction to Shanmen Hall: Shanmen Hall is also known as Sanmen Hall. A mountain stream surrounds the temple, and three fragrant flower bridges span the stream directly opposite the Sanmen. The three doors are arched, the middle one is the door of concentration and liberation (the empty door); the small door on the right is the door of formless liberation (the door of no phase); the left side is the door of the liberation of no action (the door of no action).
