Introduction to the Guanyin Hall: The Buchanchen Guanyin Hall in the east of the tower is commonly known as the Nanmu Guanyin Hall. It was built in the 23rd year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty. The existing temple was rebuilt during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It is the most complete Ming Dynasty building in Suzhou.
