Huang Tianyuan’s introduction: The Huang Tianyuan Cake Shop at the east gate of Xuanmiao Temple is famous for its delicate, glutinous, soft, sweet and plump products. The jujube and yam cake mentioned in Chapter 11 of "A Dream of Red Mansions" is one of its famous spots. The shop was founded in the first year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1821). Due to its attention to formula, materials and craftsmanship, its various cakes have unique flavors and are famous both at home and abroad.
