Introduction to the "One Serious Sutra" tripod: The "One Serious Sutra" tripod is located in the center of the terrace of the main hall of Hanshan Temple. It has "A Serious Sutra" cast on the front and the words "Steel can be tempered a hundred times" on the back. Legend has it that there was a dispute between Chinese monks and Taoist priests, and they were competing to see whose scriptures could withstand the fire. The Buddhists put the "Diamond Sutra" into the copper cauldron fire. The book was undamaged, so they carved "a serious sutra" as a commemoration.
