Introduction to Zhangwang Temple: Zhang Shicheng (1321-1367) was the leader of the peasant uprising in the late Yuan Dynasty. In 1356, he pacified Suzhou, established his capital as king, and named his country "Great Zhou". The people of Suzhou are grateful for his kindness and build ancestral temples to worship him year after year, and the incense continues.
