Introduction to the ancient stage: The Shantang ancient stage is a Tang-style building. It was originally a place for social opera performances to pray for good weather and peace of the country and the people. Later, it gradually evolved into an entertainment place for celebrating festivals and holding temple fairs. The rooms on both sides of the stage display stills, masks and costumes of Kun Opera, a world cultural heritage. Famous artists and fans often appear on the stage to present wonderful Kun Opera performances to tourists.
