Introduction to Dahuan Pavilion: During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the trend of playing the piano was very popular in Loudong (Taicang). It happened that Xu Shangying failed to take the martial arts examination twice. In order to relieve his boredom, Xu Shangying gave up martial arts and learned to play the piano, and first paid homage to the famous Taicang qin player Chen Aitong. His son Chen Xingyuan learned the piano, and later he learned the piano from Chen Aitong's disciple Zhang Weichuan, and then he learned the piano from Yan Cheng in Changshu. Thanks to the guidance of famous teachers and my strong perceptive ability, my piano skills have become more and more advanced. Later, Xu Shangying formed the Qinchuan Qin Society with Chen Xingyuan, Yan Cheng, Zhao Yingliang, Chen Yudao and others, known as the "Yushan Qin School". In fact, the main backbone of the Qin Society were all Taicang people. The Dahuange Qin Pavilion was built to commemorate Xu Shangying, a guqin master from the Ming Dynasty.
