Introduction to Shijing Pond: Shijing Pond was excavated by Fan Yunlin in the late Ming Dynasty. The pond is divided into two, the larger one is the lotus pond, about 5 acres; the smaller one is the flower pond. It is separated by a large embankment, with a bridge over the pond and a zigzag red railing. The contrast between the mountains and rivers here arouses deep thinking, and there are ancient monuments such as Laiyan Pavilion and Sutra Interpretation Platform all around.
