Introduction to Ge Cheng’s Tomb: Ge Cheng (1568-1630), on the third day of June in the 29th year of Wanli, Ge Cheng led everyone to launch a tax resistance struggle with handicraft workers as the main body at Xuanmiao Temple in Suzhou, so he was honored as Ge Xian , General Ge. In 1626, Ge Cheng volunteered to guard the tombs of five martyrs, Yan Peiwei, Yang Nianru, Shen Yang, Ma Jie and Zhou Wenyuan. After he died of illness in the third year of Chongzhen (1630), he was buried next to the tomb of five people to comfort his spirit.
