Introduction to the Millennium Ancient Camphor: The Millennium Ancient Camphor is the most important landmark landscape of Mingyue Bay, witnessing the thousand-year history of the ancient village. This tree was planted in the Tang Dynasty. It is about 1,200 years old, with a trunk diameter of 2 meters and a crown height of 25 meters. In 1984, the Wu County People's Government announced it as a first-class ancient and valuable tree. One side of the ancient camphor tree has become dead wood due to lightning and fire. Fortunately, new branches sprouted from the other side and the big tree was able to grow. It is known as "grandfather carrying grandson on his back" and is a famous descendant tree in the local area. During the Japanese invasion of China, Gu Zhang was cut down many times, but was saved by villagers, which shows the importance of this tree to the villagers.
