Introduction to Wenhui Restaurant: Wenhui Restaurant was originally called "Jukui Building". It was built by the descendants of Taierzhuang guard Qu Yilong in the 44th year of Qianlong (1779 AD) because it was here during Qianlong's fifth trip to the south of the Yangtze River. He became famous by eating. This Beijing-style building has both a tall and magnificent palace with a royal atmosphere and a simple and restrained courtyard. It covers a total area of 1,279 square meters and a construction area of 940 square meters.
During the Taierzhuang War, this was the place where war correspondents gathered. "Wenhui Po" reported the war situation on its front page every day, and "Jukui Tower" was the place where the news came from. After the war, it was renamed Wenhui Restaurant. In the current Wenhui Restaurant, a copy of Wenhui Daily, which reported on the war at that time, allows visitors to relive the intensity of the war.
