Introduction to the Taipei Botanical Garden: The Taipei Botanical Garden was a botanical garden founded in 1921 (the 10th year of Taisho) during the Japanese colonial period in Taiwan. The founder was the Planting and Production Division of the Taiwan Governor-General's Office. During the Second World War, the construction of the park was interrupted and all the trees withered. After Taiwan's liberation, the Forestry Experimental Institute reorganized the park and actively introduced planting. It gradually became the grand scene of the Taipei Botanical Garden today.
