Introduction to the Luo Fuxing Monument: There is a bronze statue of the martyr Luo Fuxing in the center of the square on the first floor. Luo Fuxing is a well-known anti-Japanese comrade and a Taiwanese historical figure familiar to the public. Luo Fuxing once joined the Tongmenghui and participated in the Battle of Huanghuagang. His background was "politically correct." After the Nationalist Government moved to Taiwan, it paid special attention to and publicized Luo Fuxing's deeds. Compared with the neglect suffered by other anti-Japanese historical figures, Luo Fuxing's historical encounter was relatively lucky, and his name is recorded in history. There is still a memorial hall for him in Dahu Township, Miaoli.
