Introduction to birds: There are 70 species of birds in Xitou Forest Park, all of which are representative of Taiwan’s mid-altitude areas. Visitors can first go to the service center to get a free Xitou bird watching manual, and then bring their binoculars to the forest to look for birds. The best time to watch birds is at dawn, when there are fewer tourists and the fog has just dispersed. Walking through the forest, it is easy to encounter servals, tree magpies, white-headed blackbirds, crowned blackbirds, etc. It is full of fun.
