Introduction to the Elk Hometown: According to the "Elk Habitat Survey", the Qinhu area is the hometown of the elk. This area also has the largest number of elk fossils unearthed in the country. The only intact elk fossil specimen in the country collected by the Taizhou City Museum was unearthed here. Due to various reasons, the wild population of elk became extinct a thousand years ago. It was not until the 1980s that the elk returned to their homeland from the UK and began to breed again near Qin Lake.
