Introduction to Zheng Banqiao: Zheng Banqiao (1693~1765) was a painter, calligrapher, and poet in the Qing Dynasty. His name was Xie, his courtesy name was Kerou, and his name was Banqiao. He had been an official, sold calligraphy and painting, and had a rough life. Zheng Banqiao was good at painting, especially orchid and bamboo; his calligraphy was unique, known as "six-and-a-half-point calligraphy", and later generations called it "streets paved with stones"; his poems and essays mostly described the suffering of the people or were natural and candid, and were praised by the world. An old friend said that Zheng Banqiao was the master of poetry, calligraphy and painting.
