Introduction to Moominpappa triptych: "Moominpappa" triptych was created in 1985. The one on the left is called the Blue Glass Ball: The beautiful glass ball stands on a seafoam base, reflecting everything in Moominvalley. This is Moominmama's ball, a magical, sparkling glass ball. The middle title is The Lighthouse in Darkness: Moominpappa stands on a ladder, staring at the lighthouse bulb. He loosened and tightened a screw, opened the lampshade, and closed it again. On the right is the mysterious pond: Moominpappa drew a map of Blackpool. He kept fishing and probing the center of the pond, thinking there might be a hole at the bottom that stretched all the way to the center of the earth.
