Introduction to the Guangshan Ordination Altar: Located on the west side of the original Three Holy Temples, the main hall is in the shape of a hard mountain. In the center of the hall is the ordination platform. In the center of the ordination platform is a wooden lacquered gold seated statue of Sakyamuni.
The ordination altar of Tanzhe Temple was built in the first year of Zhengtong in the Ming Dynasty (1436). Here, the great ordination and full ordination of Buddhism can be given, also known as the bhikkhu ordination. Therefore, the ordination altar is also called the bhikkhu altar.
