Introduction to Shengyan Temple: Shengyan Temple was built in 1865 in a natural stone cave 482 meters above sea level. It has a history of more than 400 years. In 1986, it was separated from the Alchemy Cave and built separately, becoming the current Shengyan Temple. Shengyan Temple is the temple with the highest altitude in Zhoushan's Thousand Islands, so it is called the "No. 1 Temple in Thousand Islands".
