Introduction to the red bird: The crested ibis (Scarlet Ibis), known as the ibis in ancient times and commonly known as the red bird, is the national bird of Trinidad and Tobago. This internationally protected bird inhabits the mangroves of the park. Every evening at dusk, flocks of returning redbirds fly across the sky and fall into the woods on the island in the middle of the lake. From a distance, they bloom like bright red flowers. ,very beautiful.
