Introduction to the Carpet Museum: Located in the city center, it is a simple and unique building with a strong ethnic style. It is a world-famous collection of Persian carpets. The museum, completed in 1977, covers an area of 24,000 square meters. From a distance, its appearance looks like a huge carpet weaving frame, which is very eye-catching against the blue sky and white clouds. There are more than 10,000 carpets of various types in the museum, the largest of which was woven at the end of the 19th century and covers an area of 176 square meters. In addition, there are many excellent items from the 19th century on display. Due to the constant temperature and balanced humidity of 20 degrees in the room, the carpet samples are always bright and eye-catching. The oldest carpet among them is 450 years old.
