Introduction to Dochula Pass: Dochula Pass (Dochula) is located on the way west from Thimphu to Punakha Dzong. When the weather is clear, you can see the snow-capped Himalayan foothills that divide China's Tibet and Bhutan. The fourth queen built 108 white towers here to commemorate the fourth king's victory in expelling Assamese militants. The snow-capped peaks are hidden between pines and cypresses and the golden spire of the White Pagoda of Bhutan. They are the only beautiful scenery in the south of Tibet.
