Introduction to the Bell and Drum Tower: The Bell Tower and Drum Tower of Fuxi Temple are located on the east and west sides of the Xiantian Hall Terrace. They were built between the 10th and 12th years of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty. The door, the carved window lattice between the pillars has all been removed, and it is the same as the pavilion.
The bell tower was burned down due to a fire after the Temporary Labor Camp moved into the Fuxi Temple in the 29th year of the Republic of China. The whereabouts of the large iron bell from the Qing Dynasty are unknown. The existing bell pavilion was restored and rebuilt by the Tianshui City Museum in 1988 and was used by the people to worship Fuxi. The "Shangyuan Hui" was organized to mend a cast-iron bell and hang it in it.
The drum tower is still there, but the drum has long since disappeared. It is said that in the 33rd year of the Republic of China, the Dai Ya Repertory Troupe of the Chinese Drama Society came to Tianshui to perform the drama "Thunderstorm" and borrowed it. This drum accompanies the sound of thunder.
