Introduction to the West Courtyard: The West Courtyard is the main courtyard of Nanguo Temple. There are towering ancient Sophora japonica trees on each side outside the mountain gate that block out the sun. The mountain gate is a tiger-sitting three-door style, with a plaque written by Mr. Zhao Puchu "Nanguo Temple" hanging on the forehead. There are bells and drums on both sides of the door. There are two small hanging flower gates on the second floor next to the bells and drums. The small courtyards inside the gates are the East and West Zen Forest Courtyards. In the 28th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (AD 1902), the people of this state changed the East Chanlin Courtyard into "Du Shaoling Temple". The Reclining Buddha Courtyard is adjacent to the West Zen Forest Courtyard, and there is a Reclining Buddha Hall. Most of them are restored buildings from the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty.
