Huading Peak Introduction: Huading Peak is the main peak of Tiantai Mountain, located 25 kilometers north of the county. Buses can directly reach the scenic spot. The scenic area covers an area of 7.5 square kilometers and is a national forest park. The main peak is 1,098 meters above sea level. The surrounding mountains are arching towards it and are wrapped in layers, shaped like a lotus flower. The top of the peak is right on top of the flower, hence the name "Huading".
There is Taibai Reading Hall in the northeast of the temple, and Youjun Mochi and other historic sites in the southwest. There were originally 72 thatched huts in the dense forests on both sides of the temple, with Yakushi'an being the largest thatched hut in the east. During the Buddhist fasting period, there are many monks and pilgrims on the mountain, and these thatched tents become a place for them to practice.
The area around Huading Temple has fertile land, dense ancient trees, and year-round clouds and mist, which is suitable for the growth of tea trees. The Huading Yunwu Tea produced is one of the famous teas in China and is well-known at home and abroad. The Yunjin azaleas in Huading are mostly over a hundred years old and cover an area of hundreds of acres. In May every year, the flowers bloom like a sea, which is a wonder.
