Introduction to the Main Hall of Guoqing Temple: On the lotus throne in the middle of the Main Hall of Guoqing Temple sits the bronze statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, which is 6.8 meters high and weighs 13 tons. It was cast in the Ming Dynasty. On both sides stood two disciples, Ananda and Kassapa, and in front stood the Chantan Buddha. On the left and right walls are eighteen Arhats carved from nanmu from the Yuan Dynasty. On the left and right sides of the back wall are two Bodhisattvas, Manjusri and Samantabhadra. In the middle of the back wall is Cihang Pudu Nanhai Guanyin, with Shancai on the left, Dragon Girl on the right, a relief of Putuo in the South China Sea on the wall, and the symbolic Tiantai Mountain in the upper right corner.
