Introduction to Waigong Pond: Waigong Pond is an artificially excavated pond. Because of its huge area and the large number of people who use the excavation, it is called "Wan Gong Pond". The Wankong Pond was originally a life-release pond. Later, in order to solve the problem of the reduced flow of mountain water for the monks of Tiantong Temple to drink in summer, the Wankong Pond became the temple's backup reservoir after being desilted. Tiantong Temple has two Wan Gong Ponds, one inside and one outside.
