The Pinghu Qiuyue in Yuanmingyuan was originally the site of Qianlong's six voyages to the south of the Yangtze River. Later, it was built to imitate Pinghu Qiuyue, one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake in Hangzhou. It was a resting place for the emperors of the Qing Dynasty.
