Introduction to Yintai Museum: Yintai is located on the north bank of Yuehu Lake, beside Yanyue Embankment. It was built in the third year of Daoguang reign of Qing Dynasty (1823). It was originally the private residence of Tonghuai, a Jinshi in the 10th year of Jiaqing and deputy director of the General Affairs Department. The display in the museum retains the traditional architectural pattern, through Shengwu Hall (main hall), Jinbaihua Hall (sacrificial hall), study room, government hall, private school, banquet hall, elegant play room, bathing room, embroidery room, bedroom, Buddhist hall, Scenic displays such as mills fully reflect the living environment, home art, and social nature and social relationships of Ningbo officials and scholars in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.
