Introduction to the Lhasa River Bridge: The Lhasa River Bridge is a landmark project of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, with a total length of 928.85 meters and a maximum span of 108 meters. The main bridge adopts a five-span continuous bridge and a three-span continuous steel arch combination system in the middle. It adopts a double-layer curved arch structure, both of which are used for the first time in China. It is the world leader and the first in Asia among similar bridges. The main bridge piers of the bridge are designed as yak-leg type variable cross-section double cylindrical piers, and the approach bridge piers are designed as snowdrop type variable cross-section round end shaped piers. The design and structure of the bridge are novel, integrating national characteristics and modern style. After completion, the bridge will be completely white, and the continuous arch will look like a flying Hada facing the golden Potala Palace in the distance.
