Introduction to the Brahmaputra River: The Brahmaputra River is the highest river in China, located in the Tibet Autonomous Region, and one of the highest rivers in the world. Originating from the Jiema Yangzong Glacier at the northern foot of the Himalayas in southwest Tibet, its upper reaches are called Maquan River. It traverses southern Tibet from west to east, bypassing the Namjagbarwa Peak at the easternmost tip of the Himalayas, turning southward, and exiting China through Basika. It is rich in water energy reserves, second only to the Yangtze River in China. The Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon at the great bend of the Yarlung Zangbo River is the world's largest canyon. It has been certified by the China World Records Association as the world's deepest grand canyon and the world's largest grand canyon.
