Introduction to Lake Manasarovar: Lake Manasarovar is located 35 kilometers east of Purang County, Ngari Prefecture, Tibet and south of Mount Kailash. The natural scenery around it is very beautiful. Since ancient times, Buddhist believers and Bon believers have regarded it as the "center of the world" in the holy land. It is the freshwater lake with the most transparent water in China and one of the three "sacred lakes" called Zangfa. It is also the source of four major rivers in Asia.
